Product and process issues often originate from a lack of qualification. Further training opportunities in the public sector accounted for just 0.01% of the entire public budget in 2014 (Federal Statistical Office). The well-known expression "our employees are our most valuable asset" is perfectly justified and must be appreciated and adopted by companies, particularly those in specialised sectors. Although 50% of students had a bachelor's degree in 2015, it can be difficult to identify suitable qualification and training opportunities, particularly in more complex fields. Lack of qualifications may lead to increased costs due to poor decisions or time-consuming processes, for example. When designing suitable qualification and training courses, we are guided by the German Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (DQR) and the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF).
